Department of Foreign Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region was the first in the region involved in the project of Greenpeace "Green Office"
Offices in Russia often expend the necessary resources for their activities ineffectively: heating and lighting are used irrational, the garbage isn’t sorted, though it can be recycled. Greenpeace recommends a number of simple measures that can be easily implemented in the offices and can significantly reduce resource consumption, the burden on the environment and even lead to the financial savings.
The proposed system is purely voluntary and does not imply any financial relationships.
It is explained in the press service of the department, that Department of Foreign Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region willingly took recommended steps to the office greening, because it is a normal civilized practice. Implementation of such activities has been for long time like decency for foreign companies and organizations that we cooperate. We will be glad, if with our help, a similar approach will be the norm in the Kuban, and in Russia as a whole.
