Association facilitated business meetings and negotiations between Kuban enterprises and representatives of the German states of Brandenburg and Lower Saxony and the European Information and Correspondent Centers in Berlin and Hanover. They discussed the possibility of joint work of Russian and German companies in two main areas: technological cooperation and the expansion of product supply.
The representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Agriculture of Federal State of Brandenburg, Dr. Schade (Dr. Jens-Uwe Schade) and the head of the Association for food producers, Mr. Lehmann (Dr. Gerd Lehmann) said that cooperation in implementing new developed technologies for food production is of particular interest for companies in this federal state.
The head of the Association for food production Mr. Reichl (Norbert Reichl) said that German equipment is well-known to Russian manufacturers and in demand. For example, two German companies have signed contracts for production and packaging equipment delivery to confectionery factory Kuban.
Krasnodar tea and production of fruits and grapes in the Krasnodar region impressed a representative of the Marketing Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, Ms. Martines (Graziella Martines). She believes that in Germany there is now growing interest to Russian products and dishes of Russian cuisine from consumers. It increases the chances of Kuban manufacturers of exporting products to penetrate the European market.
Representatives of the Association of Exporters and Importers of Kuban took part in business events held in the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) at the International Congress Center in Berlin, including a round table dedicated to investments in agricultural business in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and in clean energy in Russia, as well as international experience of effective and conservation technologies of cultivation.
