Kuban environmentalists participate in "Green Week" in Berlin
The Kuban delegation including specialists of the Department of natural resources and state environmental control of Krasnodar Region and heads of Kuban municipalities visited the Institute of Ecology of water and river fishing. It is the leading institute in Germany, engaged in breeding of sturgeon.
Dr. Joern Gessner, a prominent German ichthyologist, conducted an excursion in the institute and gave a lecture about breeding and reintroduction of sturgeon into the environment.
Department of natural resources and state environmental control of Krasnodar Region signed a cooperation agreement with the Union of Nature Protection and Biodiversity of Germany (NABU).
Vice-governor of the Krasnodar Region Eugeny Gromyko held talks with the representatives of ENMA Energy Management GmbH. Company is engaged in design, construction, maintenance of electricity and heat generating facilities. It provided information about its opportunities in the field of elimination of waste and presented projects implemented in different countries.
Representatives of the Department of natural resources and state environmental control of Krasnodar Region met with the representatives of EUROFERM GmbH to discuss prospects for cooperation in the possible use of biological plant protection facilities in the Krasnodar Region.
