Business mission of the delegation of the Netherlands in Krasnodar
On 23-25 June 2010 the delegation of business representatives of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Russia, Mr. Ron Keller visited Krasnodar.
The purpose of the visit is a meeting and talks with the leadership of the Administration of Krasnodar Region on the development of bilateral cooperation, an exchange of contacts for the business circles of the Netherlands and Krasnodar Region.
The delegation included representatives of 27 leading Dutch companies in the field of agriculture (livestock, poultry, crops, horticulture, gardening, farming), construction and design, as well as in industry (the latest energy-efficient lighting systems, access control systems, pipe thermal insulating materials, fire safety systems, parts for commercial vehicles industry, etc.), offering their own production and service of practical training and consulting in the mentioned fields.
The Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region Dzhambulat Khatuov met and negotiated with Mr. Ron Keller, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Russia during the business mission. The sides discussed prospects of participation of Dutch companies in projects in Krasnodar Region. Issues of cooperation in trade and investment were also discussed. Several agreements were reached during the meeting:
- the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation of sister-cities;
- development of cooperation of training programs with extra training in the Netherlands;
- further cooperation with the concern “Philips” in improving health, supply of equipment, use of technology in greenhouse, establishing joint ventures in the territory of Krasnodar Region;
- the presentation of Thermaflex technologies, specializing in energy conservation with the participation of all municipalities organized by the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex of Krasnodar Region;
- informing the Dutch business circles about the potential of Krasnodar Region and enterprises interested in supplying products and services in the Netherlands.
During the visit Deputy Chief of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region Evgeny Gromyko held talks with the head of the Department of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Region Sergey Garkusha on the participation of Netherlands companies in the projects of agro industrial complex of Krasnodar Region.
Ambassador and representatives of Dutch companies met with the leadership of the Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region. The prospects for cooperation between business circles of Krasnodar Region and the Netherlands were discussed during the meeting.
Contact exchange was successfully held in the World Trade Center. Delegates from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and representatives of Krasnodar Region enterprises and organizations took part in the business meeting in order to expand and deepen cooperation between the represented regions.
The Delegation of the Netherlands visited Ust-Labinsk and held talks with Tatyana Ivanova, Director of Strategic Planning of agro-holding “Kuban”. The meeting focused on experience of Dutch investments in joint ventures of agro industrial complex of our region.
In the evening members of the delegation, Krasnodar partners and distinguished guests summed up the business mission and participated in a welcome reception on behalf of Mr. Ron Keller, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Russian Federation.
