On June 19 a panel session of Sberbank of Russia “Citizen universal electronic card” was held during the program of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The participants of the session were representatives of the Russian Presidential Administration and the Staff of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, leaders of the Russian Federation and State Duma deputies, heads of major Russian and foreign companies (Herman Gref, President, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia, and Mikhail Zadornov, President - Chairman of the Board of VTB 24), and journalists.

The discussion touched on controversial issues without disputing the advantages of providing government services in electronic form to citizens. Personal data protected by Russian legislation are necessary to provide government services to citizens.

Governor of Krasnodar Region Alexander Tkachev confirmed the importance of citizen universal electronic card for the Kuban.
