German investments into Kuban medicine
Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region Alexander Tkachev held a working meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors “Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH” Dr. Emanuel Gatti. Administration of Krasnodar Region signed Protocol on realization of the investment project in the medicine sector with “Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH” to establish a dialysis center in Krasnodar Region.
“Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH” is the world's largest integrated provider of products and services for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease. There are more than 1 770 000 people worldwide needed this treatment. The company produces equipment and consumables for dialysis, and also has a network of dialysis centers for 127 000 patients.
In 2006 Administration of Krasnodar Region and the management of “Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH” have signed the investment agreement on construction the dialysis center meeting European standard in Krasnodar and the agreement on complete redesign and rehabilitation of hemodialysis offices in Novorossiysk, Armavir and Tikhoretsk.
Currently all dialysis departments are completely renovated, redesigned and equipped with new modern technologies and methods of dialysis treatment. The building of new dialysis center in Krasnodar with the total area of 8,900 sq.m. is under completion. It is also planned to build dialysis centers in Armavir, Sochi and Novorossiysk.
The signed protocol has been appreciated by investor of Krasnodar Region as one of the best business regions in Russia and ensures that the latest innovative methods of treatment, equipment and medicine will be addressed for the project realization.
