Participation of the Krasnodar Region delegation in “Belagro-2010”

From 7 to 10June the delegation of Krasnodar Region under support of Administration of Krasnodar Region in the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Krasnodar Region and the Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region took part in the jubilee-20 th International Agricultural Exhibition “Belagro-2010”. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region E. Gromyko. “Belagro” is one of most famous exhibitions in the Republic of Belarus and Europe.

For five days the collective stand of Krasnodar Region, where 288 different products of 43 best Kuban food, processing industry and agriculture enterprises were presented, was visited by more than eight thousand people. Krasnodar Region was represented by leaders of the agricultural sector - LLC “Mariyansk rice mill”, JSC “Slavic Cannery”, JSC Confectionery factory "Kuban", CJSC company "Calorie", JSC "Medvedovsk meat factory", company “Yug-Rusi”, LLC “Bonduelle Kuban”, NGO “Agro-Industrial Union of Kuban”, the Union of manufacturers of agricultural machinery and agricultural equipment in Krasnodar Region – “KubanAgroPromMash”, LLC “Kuban cannery”, the famous factory of sparkling wines CJSC “Abrau-Durso” and other agricultural enterprises of Krasnodar Region.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation A.Chernogorov, Deputies Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus V. Pavlovsky and N. Kotkovets showed interest to the Kuban exposition.

The official delegation of our region took part in all business activities of the exhibition. Kuban specialists visited Minsk Tractor Plant, Minsk Dairy Plant (¹ 2), and Minsk plant of sparkling wines.

During the exhibition several agreements aimed at expanding trade, economic, scientific and technical relations of Kuban with Belarus were signed. These included agreements on cooperation between the Administration of Krasnodar Region, enterprises “Gomselmash” and Trade Center “Gomselmash-South” in the implementation of investment projects for co-production of combines “Polesie” in Ust-Labinsk district, as well as agreement between the Administration of Krasnodar Region, the Union “KubanAgroPromMash”, JSC “Lidaagroprommash” and JSC “Bobruyskagroprommash” (Belarus) on the organization of production, sale and service of agricultural equipment in Krasnodar Region in amount of 1,6 million rubles. Local special wine importers and entrepreneurs held talks on further cooperation in the sphere of delivery of the Kuban wine production in the Republic of Belarus.
