Russia's participation in MIPIM-2010 will be marked by a number of interesting conferences and events, as well as the presence of high-level delegations.
During four intensive days at MIPIM Russian experts will make deals, meet with leading international investors, explore promising opportunities for the development in 80 countries, and study the latest trends.
On 23 February 2010 in Vancouver (Canada) a presentation of Krasnodar Region held on. Within the presentation the agreements on cooperation between Krasnodar Region and the Province of British Columbia, as well as between the cities of Sochi and Vancouver were signed.
Sochi 2014 World, Russky Dom, the official location of the Russian delegation in Vancouver opened its doors today. Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhukov and Dmitry Kozak took part in the opening ceremony, as well as the President of Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 Dmitry Chernyshenko.
A number of international specialized exhibitions and expositions are held in the Republic of Belarus to attract the attention of financial and business circles, representatives of big business of Krasnodar Region.
The tenth visit of Krasnodar region delegation at MIPIM this year will be jubilee!
On 27 January the World Economic Forum opened at Davos under the motto “Rethink, Redesign, Rebuild”. Unlike last year, when the participants discussed the ways of overcoming the global crisis, the topic of this meeting will consist of analysis of taken actions, discussion of the current situation in the global economy as well as finding ways to further system development.
From 22 February to 1 March 2010 an official delegation from Krasnodar Region plans to visit Vancouver in Canada to develop cooperation between the Region and leading foreign states on questions of preparing for and holding Winter Olympic Games, as well as to exchange experience in organising large scale international events.
On 15 January Green Week, the largest agricultural exhibition in the world, which expects to welcome its 30 millionth visitor this year, opened.
Opening the Russian pavilion, Vice Premier Viktor Zubkov noted that 16 regions from the Russian Federation were presenting not only their own products at Green Week, but also around 140 investment projects.
On 15 January the Kuban display at Green Week 2010 in Berlin was visited by the Prime Minister of Shleswig-Holstein province Peter Harry Carstensen. He examined the Krasnodar Region stand in the Russian pavilion and carried out business negotiations with Chairman of the Krasnodar Legislative Assembly Vladimir Beketov.
Krasnodar Region delegated managers and representatives of the Regional Administration, municipalities, organs of executive power, and specialists from leading agribusiness companies to take part in the major Green Week in Berlin international exhibition.
