Results of visit of Upper Austria delegation of business circles representatives

From 22 to 24 July 2010 business delegation of Upper Austria headed by Mr. Ludwig Sharingerom the President of the Board of Raiffeisen Landesbank AG visited Krasnodar. The main purpose of the visit is cooperation development of Krasnodar Region and Administration of Raiffeisen Landesbank AG. During the visit a meeting of Austrian businessmen with the Deputy Head (Governor) of Administration of Krasnodar Region I. Peronko and sectoral departments management of Krasnodar Region supervising the financial sector, investment and external economic activity, construction, health, industry, agriculture, resort and tourist activities took place.

The main topic was the discussion of issues involving major companies of Upper Austria to implement investment projects in the region, recruiting Kuban partners for Austrian companies. It is not the first visit of such a format that proves not only the investment attractiveness of Krasnodar Region, but also the reliability of Kuban partners and consistency of Krasnodar Region Administration in the implementation of the regional investment policy. The program of visit also included meetings and discussions of Austrian delegation with representatives of Kuban business, presentations of banks partners “Raiffeisen Landesbank AG”- JSC “Krayinvestbank”, a branch of Raiffeisenbank “South”, as well as “Center of the investment bank”. Future issues of cooperation were issues of support and maintenance of export-import operations between the companies of contractors of Krasnodar Region and Upper Austria.

The questions of great importance were presentations of investment projects that are currently being implemented by the Austrian and Kuban investors in the region. During the visit a ceremony of building ski complex "Sober-bash" and laying a capsule with a message to future generations in the village Ubinskaya, Seversky district took place. Financing of this investment project is planned to be realized with the joint participation of JSC “Krayinvestbank” and “Raiffeisen Landesbank AG”. Construction of the resort will be implemented jointly WINTERTECHNIK ENGENEERING Gmbh and LLC “Company of ski resorts”. On 24 April 2010 they signed a contract for construction, equipment supply and development of trails. This project has great economic and resort importance to the development of both Seversky district and Krasnodar Region. It’s planned to create about 700 jobs in the district. According to the business plan expected budgetary efficiency of the project for 6 years will amount to 1,333,271 rubles. The development of infrastructure facilities for resort and entertainment both in winter and in summer is also provided.

During the visit of the village Starokorsunskaya the delegation studied the project of building the cottage settlement "Green Beach" and could see the ceremony of laying the stele symbolizes the relationship between Krasnodar Region and Upper Austria. The project has a general architectural solution and would present a set of low-rise buildings with single engineering software of infrastructure consisting of high quality roads, shops, pharmacy, school, kindergarten. The project plans to build 293 cottages on the latest technologies.

During the visit of Sochi Austrian businessmen saw one of the Olympic objects “Olympic Village - Imeretinskaya lowland”, as well as put into operation a new International Airport.

Following the visit the sides were satisfied with the ongoing development of cooperation between Administration of Krasnodar Region and “Raiffeisen Landesbank AG” and outlined further prospects. Following the visit the management of “Raiffeisen Landesbank AG” got proposals of the executive authorities of Krasnodar Region for further development of relations in various sectors of the regional economy.
