Delegation of the Embassy of Switzerland visited Krasnodar Region
The first item of the program was meeting with representatives of the Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region and the Russian Foreign Ministry in Krasnodar. During the talks the question of the opening of the Consulate of the Embassy of Switzerland in Krasnodar Region was touched upon, as well as the questions of economic cooperation between Krasnodar Region and Switzerland and promotion of Russian enterprises on the Swiss market and vice versa. Also, the meeting participants discussed the experience of opening Representative Offices of foreign states on the territory of Krasnodar Region.
A round table with participation of the Swiss delegation, the Chamber leadership and the representatives of leading enterprises of Krasnodar Region ("STRABAG", "Cargill-South", "Nestle" and others) was held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Krasnodar Region.
During the round table a presentation of economic and investment potential of Krasnodar region was held. The experience of development and work of foreign enterprises in the region was considered, the issues of participation of Krasnodar Region enterprises in preparing and hosting the Olympic Games in Sochi were raised.
The program of visit included meetings of the delegation with the representatives of companies "Knauf" and "Comm South".
During the visit an agreement of organization of the Swiss Business Forum in Krasnodar with the participation of the representatives of leading business circles of Switzerland was signed.
