The visit of the delegation of the Defence Attache of Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland
On 2 June 2010 the delegation of the Defence Attaché of Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland under the leadership of Josef Nibbekera, Brigadier General, Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Germany in Russia visited Krasnodar. The main purpose of the information visit of the delegation was to familiarize with social and economic development of the region.
During the visit there was a meeting with the Head of the Department of External Economic Activity Alexander Y. Tkachenko, the Head of the Department for Armed Forces Personnel and Preservice Youth Education, Alexander P. Bezyukevich, the Director of the Department for Cossacks Affairs, Valery A. Shumakov and the Head o Representative Office of Foreign Ministry of Russia in Krasnodar, Sergey A.Manko.
The questions of social, economic and investment development of Krasnodar Region, cooperation with foreign countries were discussed during the meeting. Delegation Attache discussed the questions on the status and prospects of the tourist complex development in our region, the development of cooperation with foreign countries, upgrading the region's economy and culture of the Cossacks, as well as organizing and hosting the Olympic Games “Sochi-2014” and post-Olympic future of Sochi.
During the stay in Krasnodar the delegation visited Felitsyn State Historical and Archaeological Museum, got acquainted with the expositions of the Cossack troops, visited Military Cathedral of St. Alexander Nevsky and met with the Rector Protoireem Anatoly Petrov.
On 4-6 June 2010 Attaché Delegation visits Novorossiysk and Sochi.
