On 2 October representatives of French business circles made a visit to Krasnodar

A delegation of managers of a range of French small and medium sized business visited Krasnodar Region on 2 and 3 October, accompanied by representatives of the association for development of international business cooperation Bretagne International, part of the organisational structure of the administration of the province of Bretagne, one of the most important agricultural regions in France. The companies whose managers were included in the delegation were the winners of the Oscars 35 business competition, held annually by the Bretagne International association as part of the regional programme for support to business.

The aim of the trip was to study the agricultural market of Krasnodar Region, and to establish business contacts with business representatives in the Region.

On 2 October a meeting took place between members of the delegation and representatives of the Department for Agriculture of the Region. During the meeting the Head of Department for Agriculture, Igor Aleksandrovich Lobach, told guests of the potential and achievements of the agricultural sphere in the Kuban. The French businessmen were particularly interested livestock farming and the Regional Programme to develop agriculture in the Region.

At the end of the meeting Igor Lobach invited members of the delegation to take part in the XV International Agricultural Forum, Yugagro, to be held from 18 to 21 November 2008 at the KrasnodarEkspo exhibition centre, which the members of the French delegation accepted.
