The Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region has concluded an Agreement with the state educational institute the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
The Administration of Krasnodar Region pays particular attention to the external economic contacts of the region, actively participating in international exhibitions and forums, holding presentations abroad, welcoming numerous delegations of representatives of political and business circles of foreign states, and developing trade economic and cultural cooperation. The increased attention from foreign partners to the region is the result of its geographically beneficial position, developed infrastructure, the active policy carried out by the Administration and the undoubted new status of Sochi, the host of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
As a result of the development of the external economic contacts in the region the demand for qualified staff is also rising. It is particularly important and pleasing that representatives of the regions carrying out external economic activity also now have the opportunity to undertake training and retraining at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The Department will inform executive organs of state power, the organs of power of municipalities and businesses in Krasnodar Region carrying out external economic activity about education in the Academy on programmes of professional training, retraining and inproving qualifications; will work on joint programmes for development of external economic contacts of the region; and will hold and participate in joint events, etc.
Also within the realisation of the Support to Export in Krasnodar Region 2010-2012 businesses in Krasnodar Region carrying out export activities are to have the opportunity to undergo training or to raise qualifications in their area of expertise in the field of developing export trade of their businesses.
