R van der Holl, Coordinator for Russia for the Dutch expertise agency PUM, made a working visit to Krasnodar on 25 and 26 May this year
The aim of the visit was to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation, in particular in the field of realising PUM (Netherlands Senior Experts) programmes to provide qualified assistance and consultation by Dutch specialist representatives of small and medium sized businesses in Krasnodar Region.
Within the framework of the visit a meeting was held with the First Deputy Head of the Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region, Denis Zabolotnii.
During the meeting questions were discussed on bilateral cooperation in the sphere of realising expert programmes by PUM in Krasnodar Region, participation by company representatives in the VIII Sochi International Investment Forum, and making presentations of the potential opportunities of PUM. In addition, agreements were reached on the role of the regional representative and coordinator of PUM projects in realising projects in Krasnodar.
The parties expressed their interest in establishing expert cooperation in such fields as agriculture, tourism, industry, etc, as well as in attracting exporting businesses in Krasnodar Region to participating in special PUM programmes. The result of the meeting was the reaching of an agreement on regular exchange of information about new programmes, criteria and conditions for participating in the programmes.
