External economic activity of the Krasnodar region

The objectives of the Department of external economic activity:

  • identifying the foreign countries and regions to collaborate on the basis of analysis of statistical data of their needs and requirements for delivery, as well as opportunities for import from these countries;
  • guaranteed participation of representatives of Krasnodar Region in the committees and working groups of the intergovernmental commissions on trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries;
  • development of export capacity and diversification of export structure: the development of foreign policy priorities on countries, regions, commodity markets, consumer groups, taking into account the interests of the region and their realization;
  • work with the existing Region, Russian, foreign, as well as accredited in the Russian Federation foreign trade representative offices, providing services to exporters. Consider the establishing of prospective importing countries of the Krasnodar Region representative offices in these countries for the product marketing of local firms, research and development of foreign markets;
  • promote the establishment of regional organizations assisting authorities and economic entities of the region services for the exploration of the foreign markets;
  • organizing and conducting trade missions of the representatives of public and private enterprises abroad in order to find promising markets and expand business;
  • use opportunities of compatriots, foreign diasporas and local associations for developing external economic activity and potential of the region;
  • development of export-oriented projects of municipalities of the region to engage unused goods in foreign trade turnover;
  • creation of favorable fiscal, administrative and customs conditions for export expansion and import substitution industries, creation of new and redesigning existing facilities to provide benefits under the federal law regarding tax payments to the budget of Krasnodar Region;
  • guaranteed participation of businesses in Krasnodar Region in the realization of international projects of the Russian Federation;
  • workshops for local authorities and professionals working in the field of foreign economic activity to enhance the effectiveness of export operations;
  • providing information, advice and methodological support to economic entities of the region concerning the cooperation development with foreign partners.
