On 18 November a working meeting of representatives of member countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation took place in the KrasnodarEkspo Centre

On 18 November as part of the XV Yugagro International Agro-industry Exhibition a working meeting was held of experts from the agriculture Ministries and Departments of member countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation in the KrasnodarEkspo Centre.

Results of the official visit by the Chair of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mirko Cvetkovic

 On 4 and 5 November 2008 an official delegation from the Republic of Serbia led by the Chair of the Government Mirko Cvetkovic visited Krasnodar. The Serbian delegation included the Minister for Trade and Services of the Republic of Serbia Slobodan Milosavlevic, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Serbia Milos Bugarin, the Interim Charge d'Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Russian Federation Elica Kurjak, representatives of business circles of Serbia and participants in the national exhibition.

 

On 12 November a working visit took place in Krasnodar with the director of the Moscow representation of the Taiwan Trade Centre, Brian Lee.

The meeting was held by the Deputy Head of the Department of External Economic Activity of Krasnodar Region, DV Zabolotnii.

From 12 to 16 November the meeting of the 21st General Assembly of the International Association of Peace Messenger Cities will be held in Sochi

Representatives of Mayoralties of more than twenty countries around the world will take part in this event, coming together to discuss questions of the fight for peace, stability, globalisation, politico-cultural formation. The main theme of the meeting will be The 60^th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

On 27 and 28 November 2008 the Russo-French meeting will take place in the French Embassy in Moscow.

The National Exhibition of Serbia

From 5 to 7 November the National Exhibition of Serbia is being held in Krasnodar under the slogan ‘through friendship we build the future'. Approximately 60 major Serbian companies will take part in the exhibition.

Financial Week

The XI European Financial Week will take place from 17 to 21 November 2008 in Frankfurt am Main, during which it is planned to discuss pressing questions of the European and global financial and insurance industry, the situation in the real estate market and in the banking sphere, and opportunities for investment in Russia.

Results of Krasnodar Region delegation participation in the international Cityscape Dubai 2008 exhibition

In Dubai Krasnodar Region presented fifteen hundred investment proposals worth a total of €27 billion to foreign investors. The Region's display, covering approximately 400 square metres in Hall 2, stand 2E30, presented around one hundred of the largest projects, including construction projects for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. The Krasnodar Region delegation signed five agreements worth €370 million.
